This shipping policy explains how orders placed on Shaynen.com are processed, shipped, and delivered.
1. Shipping destinations
We currently ship to selected countries within the European Union.
Available shipping destinations are shown during checkout.
2. Shipping options
We offer two shipping methods, which can be selected during checkout. Shipping costs are displayed clearly before payment.
1. Standard shipping (Uninsured)
- Estimated delivery time: 5–7 business days
- Shipment is not insured
- Lower shipping cost
This option is suitable for customers who prioritize cost over speed and insurance.
2. Express shipping (Insured)
- Estimated delivery time: 2 business days
- Shipment is fully insured
- Recommended for higher-value orders
With insured shipping, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until delivery.
3. Order processing
- Orders are processed after payment has been received
- Order details are transmitted daily in the morning to our supplier
- Our supplier handles picking, packing, and dispatch
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
4. Delivery times
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:
- destination country
- carrier performance
- public holidays or unforeseen circumstances
Delays caused by carriers or third parties do not entitle customers to compensation or cancellation, unless required by law.
5. Shipping costs
Shipping costs:
- are calculated and displayed during checkout
- depend on the selected shipping method and destination
No hidden fees apply.
6. Transfer of risk
- Insured shipping: risk remains with us until the order is delivered
- Uninsured shipping: risk transfers to the customer once the parcel is handed over to the carrier
Customers selecting uninsured shipping accept this allocation of risk.
7. Failed or refused deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed due to:
- incorrect address details
- refusal to accept the shipment
- failure to collect the parcel
we reserve the right to charge additional shipping costs or cancel the order, in accordance with applicable law.
8. Damaged or lost shipments
Damaged deliveries
If your order arrives with visible damage:
- report this to the carrier immediately
- contact us within 3 calendar days
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Lost shipments
- Insured shipping: we will investigate and provide a replacement or refund
- Uninsured shipping: loss after handover to the carrier is the customer’s responsibility
